Mixed Choir

The Mixed Choir is the main liturgical choir at Holy Trinity. It is the choir that sings at all major liturgical celebrations such as Confirmation, Christmas, Advent, Lent, Holy Week, and First Communion. The Mixed Choir represents a cross-generational membership and continues the tradition of setting the musical standard for our parish in our communal celebrations. The Mixed Choir sings on a weekly basis, primarily the 10 A.M. Sunday Mass, though on occasion will sing at other Mass times. Anyone high school age and older is invited to become part of the Mixed Choir. Repertoire ranges from traditional choral works to more modern, contemporary works. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 7 - 8:30 PM in the Music Room.

Children's Choir

Membership in the Youth Choir is open to all elementary and middle school students. This choir sings at one or more Mass times each month. The Children's Choir is an excellent opportunity for young people to become more actively involved in leading our congregation in our worship experience. The Children's Choir helps to prepare our students in a deeper understanding of the liturgy and music of the Church, with the opportunity to become cantors and future members of the Mixed Choir. Rehearsals are every Tuesday, 3:15 - 4:15 P.M. in the Music Room.

Resurrection Choir

The Resurrection Choir provides the musical support for all funerals here at Holy Trinity. Membership is open to all men and women. Repertoire ranges from traditional to contemporary, contemplative works. The Resurrection Choir sings at various Sunday liturgies during the year in addition to funerals. Rehearsals are on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays each month from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. in the Music Room

Instrumentalists

Holy Trinity is blessed to have many people who are willing to share their musical abilities on various instruments, such as clarinet, oboe, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, flute, and guitar. Played in harmony with the organ or piano or providing accompaniment of the choirs, these instruments add color to musical arrangements. Instrumentalists can be of any age and can play for a variety of occasions during the liturgical year.

Cantors

The role of Cantor has been restored in its proper liturgical role in the history of the Church. The role of the Cantor is much more than that of a soloist. Based on the ancient Hebrew tradition, the Cantor leads the congregation in singing the Psalmody and other acclamation's and songs. Cantors are members of the various choirs and sing various Mass times. Candidates are welcome.
